RNeo4j is an R package that allows you to easily interact with a Neo4j graph database from your R environment. In this webinar, Nicole White, author of RNeo4j, will demonstrate the various visualization options users have when using R with Neo4j. We will cover algorithm-driven visualization in igraph, such as visualizing clusters after executing a community-detection algorithm, along with interactive visualizations made possible with packages such as d3Network and visNetwork, both which wrap JavaScript libraries. For the interactive visualizations, we will learn how to view them in both the RStudio viewer pane and in interactive HTML documents, where the latter is made possible through a combination of RStudio’s Shiny web application framework and R Markdown.
Nicole White, Data Scientist, Neo4j Nicole grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and then spent four years at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she got a degree in economics with a minor in mathematics. She then went to the University of Texas at Austin where she got her masters degree in analytics, and it was during this time that she found Neo4j and began playing around with it. When she's not graphing all the things, she spends her time playing card games and board games.
